Staff Photography
I was employed by EdTech entrepreneur Alastair Price to rebrand iSAMS. Alastairβs mission was always a simple one β to create the leading web-based management information system (MIS) for schools worldwide. Hereβs a selection of photographs I captured during the rebranding process.
Image Library
When I joined iSAMS, the company had no photography on file. During the audit process, all I saw was cheap stock photography, which didnβt represent the business or resonate with the customer.
The driving force behind iSAMS was the amazing people who worked for the company. For instance, the support team who processed 60,000 tickets each year. The training team, who travelled the globe to make sure every school had the knowledge base they required. The development team, who worked tirelessly to improve the range of products. And last but not least, the community team, who organised regular events and webinars.
In recognition of their importance to the companyβs success, I started building an image library of staff members, with a plan to use those photos on all websites, both internal and external.
Office Environment
The iSAMS head office was in Northampton, UK. The interior was open-plan and modern, and staff had access to the very latest equipment. The support team and training team took up most of the ground floor, with the development team and community team upstairs. During my monthly visits, I would capture images of staff members doing their job, while interacting with each other. These images were always well received and quickly became an integral part of the brand.
BETT Exhibitions
Each year, iSAMS exhibited at the British Educational Training and Technology Show (BETT) at ExCel London. This was a great event for networking and discovering the latest innovations. Members of the sales team and training team were on hand to engage with existing customers and potential clients. The iSAMS stand is where staff members sparked ideas, created connections and accelerated potential leads.
